Renting 101

Step One:

Choose properties that meet your needs and schedule your house showings

Step Two:

Complete an online application for one of the properties you have selected

Step Three:

Decide on a Property to Rent

Step Four:

Put down a security deposit on-line at www.adamshousing.com or in person at our office to hold your property

The following items must be completed and received within two weeks of putting down security deposit:

Step Five:

Tenant signatures on lease

  1. Bring your license
  2. Bring social security number
  3. Fill Out City of Salisbury Voter Registration Card

Step Six:

Notarized parent co-signature and return via email

  1. Parent’s license number/Birthday
  2. Parent’s social security number
  3. Parent e-mail
  4. Parent Cell phone number

Step Seven:

Choose your payment plan

  1. Set up auto-debit online using your tenant portal (Note: It takes approx. 3-5 business days for your rent payment to process. Please schedule automatic payments to process 3-5 days prior to the first of the month to avoid late payment fees).
  2. Pay total monthly rent using one check.
  3. Pay Per-Semester.

Due One Month Prior to Move-In
